I am an English speaking hypnotherapist (also French speaking), originally from Hong Kong, trained in Paris, currently based in Lyon. I specialize in building resilience post trauma and post burn out, given that this is what I went through personally in my previous career as a headhunter in finance. I aim to make English speaking mental health service more readily available in France. In my practice, I have clients who are expats in France as well as French who have been expatriated elsewhere and who feel more at ease in expressing themselves in both languages.  

I exercise both in a cabinet in Lyon and I also do consultations online.

What happens in a session?

A session is largely divided into 2 parts. First part of the session is understanding the problematic and the desired outcome, a discussion around the related thoughts and emotions. During the second part of the session, we dive into a conversation with the unconscious in a hypnotic state to work with our subconscious programming. 

What is your approach ?

My approach is solution-focused and I employ multi-disciplinary therapy modalities in doing so. An active listener, I aim to build trust with clients and listen proactively.

What sort of problematics do I handle? 

Stress, Anxiety, Burn Out, Traumas, Any issues with emotion management 

What should you expect from the sessions?

Given that hypnotherapy is brief therapy, depending on the thematics, you should be expecting to see results anywhere between 1 to 6 sessions.
